Joint Research and Development, Inc. (JRAD) is a small business concern established in 2004, providing subject matter expertise in understanding and solving Engineering and Science and Technology (S&T) challenges for the Department of Defense. JRAD provides a full spectrum of engineering, scientific, analytical and technical services to meet our customers’ needs while working within today’s budget constraints.

As leaders in the CBRN community, JRAD personnel serve in key roles in DoD programs such the Joint Equipment Assessment Program (JEAP), Decontamination (DECON), Individual Protection (IP), Future Acquisitions, Collective Protection (COLPRO), Biological Detection (BD) and several other programs overseen by the Joint Program Executive Office (JPEO) for CBRN programs. With over 100 years of combined personnel experience and research, JRAD’s core competencies include assessing emerging technologies from concept to production, serving as an unequivocal, technical objective evaluator for independent laboratory analyses, and integrating overarching T&E complete lifecycle support.
